Science of Sales Part 1

What is the reward for perseverance. Well, I guess everything. It takes unbelieveable dedication to stroll down the road of accomplishing your dream. In that journey you need to understand how to make people believe in what you believe. Influence is an essential part of getting to your goals and getting people on board with you. Success is all perception. Someone has to perceive you as being of a specific value in order for you to reap the rewards. If you can make your belief part of someone else's reality, you will achieve your dreams.

The first part is to prepare yourself. You need to put yourself in a peak state that allows you the most usage over all your possible levels of persuasion. Some people meditate. Others work out. Whatever you need to do to get yourself in the state of mind the makes you sharp and responsive to peoples needs.

Engage

Upon engaging you must approach your clients and future friend in a pleasant and attentive way. Smile. It works. Have you ever seen someone smile at you and you smile back at them without even consciously thinking about it? A smile stimulates us unconsciously. It can cause a sudden rush pleasure to the brain and the person then associates that pleasure to you. This is an important tool. Smile.

Next you should give the person a sincere compliment backed up by a supporting question. Example, "Wow, your skin is so clear, how do you keep it looking so good." or "You must work out everyday, how do you find the time." If you give a person a sincere, unobvious compliment it shows them you are positively engaged in them. This builds rapport. However, obvious compliments do the opposite. Be weary. Following up with a question then changes the focus of the person onto themselves and the pleasurable trait you revealed.
